Soccer Game Preview: Sabine vs. Pine Tree

The Sabine Cardinals will head out to face off against the Pine Tree Pirates at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Sabine's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Sabine will head out to face Pine Tree after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. Sabine fell just short of Kilgore by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Cardinals' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Pine Tree earned a 4-2 victory over Henderson on Tuesday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sabine fell to 6-1-1. As for Pine Tree, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Sabine suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Pine Tree in their previous matchup back in January of 2021. Can Sabine avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
