After only two runs in their last match, Destin made sure to put some runs up on the board against Mosley on Tuesday. The Sharks blew past the Dolphins 10-0. The Sharks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by ten runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Aspen Benscoter's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lyliana Kessler and Anita Palmer did most of the damage at the plate: Kessler went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Palmer scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most RBI Kessler has posted since back in March. Sophia Ryals was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Destin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Destin's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Mosley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Destin is taking a road trip to take on Holmes County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mosley, they will host Altha at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dolphins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
