Basketball Game Preview: Neuqua Valley Wildcats vs. Dundee-Crown Chargers

The Neuqua Valley Wildcats and the Dundee-Crown Chargers will round out the year against one another at at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Neuqua Valley is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Neuqua Valley might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting St. Patrick an easy 77-55 win. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Shamrocks are ranked 78th).

Meanwhile, Dundee-Crown didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wauconda on Friday, but they still walked away with a 62-57 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Neuqua Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Dundee-Crown, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-5.
