Volleyball Recap: Westford Academy Comes Up Short

Westford Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors, falling 3-0. If the Grey Ghosts were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-21.

Westford Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westford Academy will host Lowell at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Red Raiders will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Grey Ghosts surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they will welcome Chelmsford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
