It was a good run, but Alba-Golden unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 36-18 fall against the Pollok Central Bulldogs. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Alba-Golden's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-9. As for Pollok Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

Alba-Golden will venture away from home to take on LaPoynor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pollok Central will take on Woodville in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
