Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Road Wins for Geneva Classical Academy

Geneva Classical Academy won the last time they faced Oasis Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Geneva Classical Academy took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-13, 25-5.

Geneva Classical Academy pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Oasis Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Geneva Classical Academy and Champions Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Oasis Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winter Haven Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
