Paloma Valley strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Temescal Canyon Titans. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Paloma Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-23.

Paloma Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Temescal Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Paloma Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Palm Desert at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Temescal Canyon, they will challenge Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
