Roanoke-Benson came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Flanagan/Woodland Falcons 55-36. That's more bragging rights for the Rockets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emma Palaschak, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 14 points. The dominant performance also gave Palaschak a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (80%). Ella Derossett was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Roanoke-Benson's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Flanagan/Woodland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.
