Live Oak is a perfect 3-0 against Oroville since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lions will host the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Live Oak and four for Oroville.

Live Oak's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Gridley on Friday. They took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 56-0. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 821st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 380th).

Meanwhile, Oroville played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 56-6 loss at the hands of Orland. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-6.

Oroville's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Live Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
