The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Moses Brown is ranked 19th, while St. Raphael Academy is ranked sixth).
Moses Brown pushed their score all the way to 35 last Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Providence. That's two games in a row now that Moses Brown has lost by exactly seven points.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for St. Raphael Academy, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 29-8 walloping at the hands of Barrington two weeks ago. St. Raphael Academy's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 6-4.
Moses Brown was dealt a bruising 34-7 loss at the hands of St. Raphael Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Can Moses Brown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
