Football Recap: Falls City Starts Season with Loss at Home

Falls City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 12-6 to the Gilchrist Grizzlies on Friday. The Mountaineers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Coming up, Falls City will be playing in front of their home fans against Crow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gilchrist, they will head out on the road to face off against Chiloquin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
