Orange proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by five) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Carrboro Jaguars. Orange haven't had any issues with Carrboro recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Jesse Petrides and Carson Condon scored both of Orange's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Orange's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Carrboro, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-8-1.

Orange has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against South Granville on the 20th. As for Carrboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Cedar Ridge on the 16th.
