Centaurus is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will challenge the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Cheyenne Mountain's win came from a few key players Centaurus will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Donovan Sandoval, who rushed for 91 yards on only nine carries. Those 91 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
