Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of JD Dill and Noah Stein Lead Christ Covenant to Victory

Christ Covenant waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 55-42 victory over the Gramercy Christian Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-63 last Tuesday.

Christ Covenant was led to victory by Noah Stein and JD Dill. Stein posted 18 points along with five boards and four steals, while Dill dropped a double-double with 20 points and 18 rebounds. The game was Stein's ninth in a row with at least 15 points.

Gramercy Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Diego De Hoyos and Riley Kincer. De Hoyos had seven points, while Kincer earned six points and eight boards.

Christ Covenant now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Gramercy Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.

Christ Covenant has already played their next matchup, a 47-21 defeat against Community Christian on the 21st. Gramercy Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
