Columbia had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 14-10 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Santa Fe Raiders 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-1 back in February.
Kyler Keen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Columbia and Santa Fe are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Tigers will square off against Ridgeview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Fe, they are taking a road trip to take on Suwannee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
