Baseball Recap: Franklin County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Altha on Tuesday, Franklin County came back down to earth. The Seahawks came up short against the Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks on Wednesday, falling 12-2. The Seahawks have struggled against the Tiger Sharks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Franklin County now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Port St. Joe, their record is now 17-7.

Franklin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Port St. Joe, they will head out to square off against Blountstown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Tiger Sharks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
