Basketball Recap: Western Extends Winning Streak to Two

Logansport came into Saturday's match looking for another win against Western, but Carter Biggs wouldn't allow it. The Western Panthers came out on top against the Logansport Berries by a score of 54-46 on Saturday thanks in part to Biggs, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Several Berries players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chris Anthony Delvalle, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of RJ Clem, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards.

The win made it two in a row for Western and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Logansport, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Western will host Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Logansport, they will venture away from home to challenge McCutcheon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Logansport is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season.
