Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stagg Delta Kings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 8-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Stagg, their record is now 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Edison will take on rival Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Stagg is set to square off against their familiar foe the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
