Softball Recap: Brentwood School Eagles vs. Archer School for Girls Panthers

They fell victim to a tough 15-0 defeat at the hands of the Archer School for Girls Panthers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Brentwood School of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.

For Archer School for Girls' part, Ari Borstein was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Borstein has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season. Borstein was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
