Basketball Recap: Abilene Takes a Loss

Abilene suffered their biggest loss since November 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 49-24 to the Wylie Bulldogs. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Abilene and nudges their season record down to 14-14. As for Wylie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Memorial the next time they take the court. Wylie will head out to face Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Abilene will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
