Soccer Game Preview: Diamond Hill-Jarvis vs. Bridgeport

The Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles will face off against the Bridgeport Bulls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Diamond Hill-Jarvis comes in on 20 and Bridgeport on six.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Bowie get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Give Diamond Hill-Jarvis' defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Edgar Resendiz, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Bridgeport got the win against Brownwood on Friday by a conclusive 7-2. The result was nothing new for Bridgeport, who have now won eight games by three goals or more so far this season.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis' win was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 56 goals over those 11 matchups. As for Bridgeport, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
