After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fuquay - Varina, Willow Spring was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Storm also won the last time the pair played back in September.
Willow Spring had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-13.
Willow Spring moved to 4-18 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Southeast Raleigh, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
