Softball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

Middletown's last matchup with Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Blue Dragons lost 13-2 to the Patriots. The Blue Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middletown will take on Bristol Central at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Dragons will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. As for Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial, they will face off against Windsor Locks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
