Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Comes Up Short

Hillsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ida Bluestreaks. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bluestreaks earlier this season, when they won 59-51.

Hillsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Ida, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Hillsdale and Ida could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Hillsdale will challenge Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 216 places (323 vs. 107). Meanwhile, Ida (ranked 527th) will meet Onsted (ranked 51st) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
