Wasco had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the McFarland Cougars on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wasco had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-10.

Wasco's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for McFarland, they dropped their record down to 1-18 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Wasco will venture away from home to square off against Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McFarland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Chavez on the 10th.
