Baseball Recap: Real Life Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Ocala Christian

Real Life Christian Academy barely beat Ocala Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Real Life Christian Academy's pitcher stepped up to hand Ocala Christian a 15-0 shutout on Thursday. The match marked the Raptors' most dominant victory of the season.

Gavin Rose made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He has become a key player for Real Life Christian Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-6 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isaiah Navarro, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. He is becoming a predictor of Real Life Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-1 (and 0-5 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Vazquez, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
