Soccer Recap: University's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harker Heights, University was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy Eagles onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Julian Juarez, Angel Soto-Ibarra, and Alejandro Archan.

The win got University back to even at 3-3-1. As for Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

University will square off against Temple at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Waco on the 11th.
