If Midway wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Red Springs, they should've done a better job of containing  Nakira Hunt. The Red Springs Red Devils came out on top against the Midway Raiders by a score of  37-25  on Tuesday thanks in part to  Hunt, who  posted 20  points. She is becoming a predictor of Red Springs' success: when she posts  at  least 15 points the team is undefeated (and 4-15 when she doesn't).
  Peyton Herring and  Kara Beth Benton certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss.  Herring  scored 12  points and eight  rebounds, while  Benton  earned five points.  Looking ahead, Red Springs will venture away from home to  face off against West Bladen  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Midway, they will host St. Pauls  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
