Basketball Game Preview: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes vs. Oakwood Comets

Georgetown-Ridge Farm hasn't had much luck against Oakwood recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes will head out on the road to take on the Oakwood Comets at 7:00 p.m.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They fell 37-28 to Salt Fork.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oakwood). They really took it to Chrisman for the full four quarters, racking up an 82-54 win. The Comets pushed the score to 80-47 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals cut but never quite recovered from.

The victory got Oakwood back to even at 11-11. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm was taken down by Oakwood 58-20 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Georgetown-Ridge Farm avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
