Baseball Recap: North Sevier Comes Up Short

North Sevier lost against Milford back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Sevier Wolves lost 9-2 to the Milford Tigers. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parker Jensen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI. He has become a key player for North Sevier: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-3 otherwise.

North Sevier now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Milford, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

North Sevier will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against South Summit at 1:30 p.m. As for Milford, they will take on Gunnison Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Milford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.
