Volleyball Recap: Mauldin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mauldin was the 3-1 winner over Hillcrest when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mavericks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 22-25, 25-21, 25-11.

Addison Nelson had a dynamite game For Hillcrest., getting 24 digs and two aces. Those 24 digs gave Nelson a new career-high.

Mauldin's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hillcrest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mauldin will head out to face off against T.L. Hanna at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Hillcrest and Greenwood will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
