Baseball Recap: White Swan Takes a Loss

White Swan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Goldendale Timberwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 on Saturday.

White Swan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Goldendale, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, White Swan will challenge Sunnyside Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goldendale, they will square off against Riverside Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Timberwolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 12.5 runs per game this season.
