Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

The Lutheran Knights came up short against the Bishop Seabury Academy Seahawks on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lutheran was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bishop Seabury Academy work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-11, 25-22.

Shiloh Gerard paced Lutheran's offense, picking up five kills. Gerard got some help from Hailey Cochran and her nine assists.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Bishop Seabury Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Prairie View on the 27th. As for Bishop Seabury Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Madison on the 27th.
