Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). Everything went their way against the Daingerfield Tigers on Saturday as Jefferson made off with an 18-8 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Chloe Wood made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Amariuanna Amie was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maddie Cooner, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
