Volleyball Recap: Augusta Prep Falls to Alleluia Community in First Game of Season

Augusta Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Alleluia Community Angels on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their meetings with the Angels: they've now lost eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10, 25-16.

Looking ahead, Augusta Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Gatewood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Cavaliers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Alleluia Community, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Academy of Richmond County on the 12th.
