Soccer Recap: Reagan Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Reagan was not quite Northwest Guilford's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Northwest Guilford this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-3. As for Northwest Guilford, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-2 record this season.

Reagan will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against R.J. Reynolds at 7:00 p.m. Reagan will need to watch out since R.J. Reynolds have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. As for Northwest Guilford, they will venture away from home to face off against West Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Northwest Guilford's defense better be ready for this one: West Forsyth have averaged an impressive 2.9 goals per game this season.
