Pace waltzed into their match on Tuesday with seven straight wins...and they left with eight. Everything went their way against the Lopez Lobos as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pace was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-6, 25-8, 25-14.

Pace was led to victory by Risa Trevino and Rianna Venegas. Trevino had 33 assists, nine digs, and two aces, while Venegas had 14 kills and 10 digs. Another player making a difference was Melody Valerio, who had 15 digs.

Lopez's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Pilar Martinez, who had 12 digs and an assist, and Kiana Nieto, who had nine digs and three assists.

Pace has now won 14 of their last 17 games at home. That's helped them to a 31-7 record this season. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-4 Donna North and 1-3 Edcouch-Elsa (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 29% over those games). Lopez (12-23) has now lost five in a row.

Pace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Hanna on the 10th. As for Lopez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Mercedes on the 10th.
