Volleyball Recap: Elmwood Park Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Elmwood Park was the 2-0 winner over West Chicago when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Elmwood Park couldn't get the win, but they sure gave West Chicago a tough time in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 28-30, 25-17.

Nikolija Bulatovic paced Elmwood Park's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bulatovic got some help from Tessa LaRocco and her 11 assists. Finally, Bulatovic was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high seven blocks.

West Chicago's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grace Kuehn led the charge by getting 14 assists and four digs. That's the most digs Kuehn has posted since September 5th. Gracie Perry was another key player, getting nine digs.

Elmwood Park's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for West Chicago, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Elmwood Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Saint Viator on the 2nd. As for West Chicago, they will take on Glenbard East at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th.
