Volleyball Game Preview: Morgan Huskies vs. North Branford Thunderbirds

The Morgan Huskies will square off against the North Branford Thunderbirds at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Morgan is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Valley Regional just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Huskies have suffered since September 19th.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-15.

Meanwhile, North Branford had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Thunderbirds have posted since September 22nd.

North Branford walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-23, 26-28.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for North Branford, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.
