Baseball Game Preview: Foster Bulldogs vs. Highline Pirates

Foster hasn't had much luck against Highline recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will take on the Pirates at 3:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Foster is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They fell 9-4 to Renton. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Red Hawks since on Monday.

Anthony Marshall was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Highline also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Interlake by a score of 6-3.

Highline saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zennin Luiz, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Highline has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That lines up perfectly with their 4-12 record this season. As for Foster, their record now sits at 0-14.

Foster suffered a grim 12-2 defeat to Highline in their previous matchup on April 2nd. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
