Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Duluth East). They never let the Zimmerman Thunder get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Saturday. Duluth East might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Duluth East pushed their record up to 8-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Zimmerman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duluth East will host Cambridge-Isanti at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Zimmerman, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Becker at 7:00 p.m.
