Softball Recap: Southeast Polk Gets the Win

After losing to Kennedy the last time they met, Southeast Polk decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rams won by a run and slipped past the Cougars 7-6. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by just one run.

Southeast Polk now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Southeast Polk didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-6 defeat against Dubuque Senior on the 7th. As for Kennedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against Johnston on the 7th.
