Gilbert had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 9-14 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Dobson Mustangs. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Trinity Romero spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Rikki Imel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
