After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Florence, Rio Rico was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rincon/University Rangers 33-0 on the road. That looming 33-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hawks yet this season.
Yahel Clark had a dynamite game for Rio Rico, rushing for 52 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. The dominant performance gave Clark a new career-high in rushing yards. Jahred Bravo made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Rio Rico's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as Bravo, Matthew Felix, and Felix picked up one apiece.
