Football Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton was the 20-13 winner over Ewing when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers were just a hair shy of victory on Saturday and fell 21-20 to the Blue Devils. The loss put an end to the Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

Princeton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Ellinton Hinds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Princeton fell to 2-1. As for Ewing, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Princeton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-14 victory against Hamilton on the 20th. As for Ewing, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-25 win against Robbinsville on the 19th.
