Baseball Recap: South Charleston Takes a Loss

South Charleston managed to slip by Oak Hill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Black Eagles came up short against the Red Devils on Thursday, falling 11-0. The Black Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

South Charleston has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Oak Hill, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.

Looking ahead, South Charleston will venture away from home to take on Capital at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Hill, they will welcome St. Albans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Dragons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Red Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
