League recap: Bush powers Linfield Christian with hot hitting week

Alex Bush was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .700 average, one home run and five RBIs. Linfield Christian compiled a record of 2-1 in that time.

Behind a 2-0 record over the past week, Arrowhead Christian made the biggest jump in the national rankings, all the way from 404 to 391.

Woodcrest Christian boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. On the season, the Royals have allowed just 97 hits, while striking out 134 batters. John Davis leads the Royals with 62 strikeouts in 50 innings.

Calvary Murrieta had trouble finding a groove at the plate as a team this week, racking up a league-leading 42 strikeouts. The Warriors have struggled at the plate this season, leading the league with 42 strikeouts.



The Lions's Bush led the league with seven hits this week. On the season, he's hitting .456 and ranks second in the league with 31 hits.
