Football Game Preview: Abington Heights Comets vs. Scranton Knights + How To Watch

Abington Heights and Scranton are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Abington Heights will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

On Friday, Abington Heights didn't have too much trouble with Wallenpaupack Area as they won 31-14. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Buckhorns: they've now won four in a row.

Jayden Anglin had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 178 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 106.5 rushing yards per game.

Abington Heights didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Wallenpaupack Area to a completion percentage of just 43.8%. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Abington Heights; they were averaging 61.3%completion percentage earlier this season, but in their last three contests they've fallen to only 61.3%.

Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Abington Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
