Pinon put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Window Rock Fighting Scouts 56-8. Fans of the Eagles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Pinon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but JoBryant Charley led the charge by rushing for 115 yards and three scores on only 15 carries. Another rusher making a difference was Josh Manuelito, who rushed for 157 yards and a pair of TDs.

Pinon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ashton Manycows-Yazzie and Bentley Joe. Manycows-Yazzie got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Pinon's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Window Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinon will venture away from home to take on Ganado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Window Rock, they will head out to face off against Holbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
