            Softball Recap: Auburn Tigers vs. Central Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            Auburn has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.48  runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit  on Tuesday. They lost  11-1 to the Central Red Devils. The Tigers were red-hot at the plate heading into the  match (they scored no less than ten  runs in the three  contests prior), but the Red Devils' pitchers proved too tough.
 Auburn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Daley Alsobrook, who  went 1-for-2 with one  RBI.
Auburn's  defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 19-8. As for Central, they pushed their record up to 29-3 with the  win, which was their 21st straight  at home dating back to last season.
While Auburn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
